Why Executive Coaching Matters

We can all be guilty of doing the same thing and expecting different results. "If I just work a bit harder, I will be noticed and be rewarded" is a common refrain. The truth is, "If nothing changes, nothing changes."

The truth is that without visibility, there is no influence; without influence, there is no leverage; and without leverage, there is no leadership.

  • Gain clarity and confidence
  • Overcome imposter syndrome as a new executive
  • Navigate a career transition to a leadership role
  • Build executive presence and influence
  • Get that coveted C-Suite Position
  • Gain support and mentorship as a founder

Andrew Bryant is an excellent coach, and I appreciate his contribution to my development and transition from a regional General Manager to a Director with global responsibility.

I greatly value his guidance and mentoring; our work together was a key step in my career development. I was also fortunate to have Andrew present at several of our large-team meetings, and his ability to inspire change played a crucial role in forming high-performing teams.

Transform Your Leadership with Self-Leadership Methodology

If you are not already achieving the results you desire, then you need to reframe your mindset and adjust your behaviors. The most effective way to achieve this is with the guidance of an experienced executive coach.

Using his self-leadership methodology and 30 years of experience working with top leaders around the world, Andrew Bryant helps you to achieve:

  • Self-awareness: To be an effective leader, you must understand your strengths, weaknesses, emotions, and triggers. Self-leadership fosters self-awareness, which is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence, enabling leaders to manage themselves and their interactions with others effectively.
  • Personal Accountability: A self-led executive takes responsibility for their actions, decisions, and the outcomes of those actions. This mindset of accountability ensures that you own your development process and actively implement insights gained through coaching.
  •  Clarity of Vision and Purpose: Coaching helps you clarify your values, goals, and priorities, enabling you to focus on what truly matters. This clarity is essential for setting a compelling vision and aligning your team/s toward common objectives.

  • Resilience and Adaptability: In dynamic and challenging environments, leaders face uncertainty and setbacks. Self-leadership coaching equips you with the mindset and tools to stay focused, manage stress, and adapt to change, which in turn inspires confidence in your teams.
  • Strategic Decision Making: Executives who lead themselves effectively make better decisions by aligning their choices with long-term goals, core values, and organizational priorities. Coaching will help you maintain focus and avoid reactive or counterproductive behaviors.
  • Empowering Others: By mastering self-leadership, leaders are better equipped to empower and coach their team members, thereby fostering autonomy and self-leadership throughout the organization.

Meet Your Executive Coach
- Andrew Bryant

When you ‘join the dots’ backward, Andrew Bryant has spent his entire professional experience changing mindsets and developing human performance.

Originally trained as a Physiotherapist (graduating in London in 1982), he soon became involved in working with sportspeople and teams. Frustrated by the lack of information on how to help people perform better, he studied psychology, neuro-linguistics, hypnosis, and neurosemantics, and even has a post-graduate degree in Acupuncture.

After moving to Australia, his results were noticed by corporations, and he began coaching business teams to achieve high performance. Formal studies in business at the University of Western Australia and Coach training from the International Institute of NeuroSemantics prepared him to research and develop his own methodology – Self Leadership.

Andrew is the author of five books on self-leadership, leadership, and communication.

After 17 years living and working in Asia, Andrew now lives in Portugal with his Brazilian wife. His three children are now adults and living in Australia and the U.K.

 What You'll Achieve Through Coaching

Executive Coaching builds your
Self-awareness, Self-confidence, and Impact

Executive Coaching with Self-Leadership is effective because it develops the key components necessary for success.
These are:

Intention (having a 'why') precedes any purposeful action (behavior). Actions have an impact that the self-leader evaluates via feedback.

Intention is an inner narrative about why achieving an objective is important. Intention is the drive to be a better version of oneself and to make the world a better place as a result.

Whether leading yourself or leading others, it is essential to begin with ‘Why’. Intentional action is like a laser, whilst unintentional action is like hitting everything with a hammer.

Self-awareness involves knowing your intentions and values, as well as understanding your personality and what can ‘push your buttons’ and derail you. There are clear correlations between self-awareness and effective leadership, so developing self-awareness must be a constant habit. When coaching your team, transformation occurs when you increase self-awareness about what drives behaviors, rather than just trying to modify behavior.

Self-confidence comes from knowing your capacity and strengths. As we take action and develop skills, we become more confident. Often, people sabotage their confidence by self-judgment and ‘discounting’. Self-leadership is about being grounded and realistic about what you are good at and what needs improving. This leads to true authenticity and humility.

Self-efficacy is the belief that we can handle whatever comes our way. We can take the feedback, accept it, adjust our behaviors, and advance towards our objectives. With self-efficacy, we can be more creative and innovative.

When our inner game is good, our outer game becomes more efficient and effective through influence and impact.

Influence is the result of intentional action. Through self-awareness and self-confidence, we increase our capacity to influence. Because we are grounded in ourselves, we can focus on others and what is best for them. We can therefore positively influence ourselves and the world around us to facilitate change.

Impact is how intention and influence are measured in the world. Your success is directly correlated to your impact.

Executive Presence and Influence

Developing Executive Presence and Influence are the most common reasons people seek an executive coach. The reason is straightforward: these capabilities are essential for becoming a C-Suite leader.

Executive Presence is the ability to project confidence and gravitas under pressure, as well as the ability to read the room.

Executive Presence can be developed, and Andrew Bryant has a proven history of helping his coaching clients show up, speak up, and use their influence to secure the promotions they desire.

You don't have to climb alone.
